Much like Isotope's Spirit Framework based websites and business systems, FreshBooks is an online 'software-as-a-service' accounts and invoicing solution so there's no software to install and keep up-to-date. It also means you and your clients have access wherever they may be... all you need is a browser.
And although we are heavy users of ActiveCollab for all our project management needs FreshBooks also includes lots of time-tracking tools on top of the basic invoicing and accounts platform.
